R & B Dog Bakery LLC began out of real concern for a beloved family member. When Benjamin, one of our namesake pups, became ill after his first birthday cake due to a wheat allergy and sensitive stomach, his story changed everything for us. After seeing firsthand how commercial treats can pose hidden risks, I felt called to craft cakes and biscuits that value health as much as joy. Over the past eight years, this mission has grown into a welcoming bakery where every recipe is created for pets like Benjamin - those who deserve safe, delicious treats without added sugars or salts. This heartfelt beginning guides everything we do, promising peace of mind and celebration for pets and pet parents alike.

As a proud Go Texan and People & Planet First Certified bakery, we give back by donating two percent of our profits to Paws 4 A Cause Pet Food Pantry, helping pets beyond our store. We continue to innovate, source locally, and welcome every pet family into our story, making pet health and happiness our top priorities.

Hi, I’m Aisha Byrd, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of R&B Dog Bakery. I started this journey in 2018 out of love for my two incredible dogs, Reese and Benjamin. When I couldn’t find treats that aligned with my dogs nutritional diet —treats that were both healthy and made with real, limited ingredients—I decided to make my own. What began as baking in my kitchen quickly grew into a passion and a purpose. R&B Dog Bakery is built on the belief that our dogs deserve the very best—from the ingredients we use to the way we celebrate their lives. Every treat, pupcake, and custom cake is handcrafted with love, using human-grade ingredients and no artificial additives. Beyond the bakery, I’m proud that we give back through programs like Paws 4 A Cause Pet Food Pantry supporting families in need.
This bakery is my way of honoring Reese and Benjamin—and helping pets everywhere enjoy healthy, joyful moments with the people who love them most.

With sensitive stomachs and incredibly high standards, this lively crew takes their job very seriously. From testing the crunch of our signature treats to approving the fluffy frosting on our custom milestone cakes, nothing leaves our Mansfield kitchen without their enthusiastic tail-wag of approval. They ensure that every allergen-aware, wholesome recipe we create isn’t just incredibly safe and nutritious, but absolutely, paws-down delicious.
